Cal. 410 GA. S# 22736. Bbl. 12 1/4". Handy Gun chambered in .410 GA mfg. by Harrington & Richardson. The top of the bbl. is marked "410-2m/m CHOKE". Left side of the receiver is marked "H.&R. "HANDY GUN" ", with H&R's 2-line address marked on the right. Receiver, hammer, trigger, and forearm iron exhibit a case colored finish, with remaining metal components exhibiting a blue finish. 1-piece checkered wood grip with "spur" along receiver tang and plain wood forearm. Bead front sight. All serialized parts are matching and include the frame (top of frame spur and left side beneath grip), bbl., as well as the forearm (interior). CONDITION: frame, hammer, and trigger retain fair to good case coloring, exhibiting areas of wear fading to gray patina, with scattered spots of light surface oxidation, pitting, and age related discoloration overall. Blued parts retain good amounts of their finish, with areas of wear and thinning fading to gray patina, exhibiting scattered spots of light surface oxidation. Mirror bore, exhibiting a few patches of light pitting. Proper manual mechanics. Wood furniture shows scattered marks and impressions from handling and storage, with the grip a crack on either side of the tang, the right crack also exhibiting a previously repaired chip.
